The Jon Bilbao Basque Library at the University of Nevada, Reno (Renoko Euskal Liburutegia) aims to be a research library for all researchers interested in Basque Culture and the Basque Diaspora, a memory institution for the Basque Community throughout North America, and a comprehensive portal to access Basque studies in English for researchers and institutions.
Building Operations is a team of students, staff, and faculty that maintains the building in an efficient and professional manner in order to provide a safe, comfortable and functional environment that supports a quality University experience. Our customers are the students, faculty, and staff of the University, as well as campus visitors.
Collections and Discovery Services acquires information resources, both online and in print, and collaborates to build, organize, and improve access to those resources for the University community.

Tracing its roots back to the first graduating class of the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1891, the library is named in honor of “Dee” DeLaMare, co-discoverer of the Carlin Trend - the largest gold deposit in the United States, and possibly the world. The Digital Services team facilitates work in two areas for the University Libraries: coordination of digital preservation projects and maintenance of core web systems.
Discovery Services manages the public-facing interfaces that connect users with online library content. We troubleshoot any access problems that arise. If you have problems accessing online materials (articles, journals, e-books, videos, audio), or have a question, feel free to contact us.
The Electronic Resources and Acquisition Services (ERAS) Department manages the library materials budget and acquires information resources, both online and in print, for the University of Nevada, Reno community. ERAS also regularly gathers and analyzes data on library resource usage to assist with collection development decisions.
The Metadata and Cataloging Department (MCD) handles the cataloging and metadata needs of the University of Nevada, Reno Libraries as well as select community partners.
Research and Instructional Services assists students, faculty, and community members with the discovery, evaluation, and use of information. We further support the development of information literacy by offering a range of instructional services, including teaching information literacy skills and concepts to classes, assisting with assignment development, and providing individual research consultations.
The Savitt Medical Library is the academic medical library for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Since 1978, Savitt Medical Library has been providing support for future medical and nursing students, the School of Medicine Community faculty, outreach, and patient resources.
Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) stewards unique, rare, and historically significant resources in a variety of formats documenting the northwestern Great Basin and the University of Nevada, Reno. Our mission is to help people craft new understanding and experiences through research, teaching, and learning by collecting and expertly caring for northern Nevada's unique, historically significant materials. We are open to everyone.
