Finding news sources
In general, you should go to news databases to search for news content. Library Search is not a good bet for finding news, especially recent news, although it will have some news articles integrated into search results.
For very recent news and up-to-the-minute headlines, you are probably better off using Google News or a similar news aggregator. There will always be at least some minor delay with news getting indexed in library databases.

Newspapers
From US Newsstream, the library provides access to specific newspapers and newspaper aggregators. You can also do a Combined ProQuest search which combines all 5 ProQuest databases listed below.
