Basque Library reproduction rules and fees


Printing

Black and white printing is available and costs $.10 per page.

The patron must use their Wolfcard to pay.

Digitized images

$4.00 per image for a 400 dpi TIFF file plus $1.00 per CD.

No charge for online delivery.

Other resolutions and formats are available on request.

Videotapes

Duplication is $10.00 per tape plus $4.00 postage/handling.

No charge for online delivery.

Library staff scanning

In some cases, the Library Staff will be able to scan materials for distance researchers. This is determined by the amount requested and previous deadlines and projects the library is already working to complete. The Library charges $20.00 USD per hour of work with a one-hour minimum.  Please note the library staff scanning fee is a separate fee and in addition to all other fees.

On-site researchers are welcome to take pictures with their personal devices, following copyright restrictions and always for personal use.


Use fees

No use fee will be charged for one-time, one-edition use as described below:

  • Student papers, theses, or dissertations
  • Official use by the university in university-related publications
  • Scholarly use, such as publication in a scholarly journal
  • Use by nonprofit organizations

A fee of $25.00 per image will be charged for one-time, one edition use in:

  • Textbooks
  • Research by commercial consultants, including legal, historical, and architectural researchers
  • Newspapers, magazines, films, or videos published in Nevada

A fee of $100.00 per image will be charged for one-time, one-edition use in:

  • Commercial display or exhibit
  • Commercial publication (non-scholarly journal or mass audience books)
  • Advertisements
  • Other commercial Ephemera (menus, brochures, posters)
  • Newspapers, magazines, films, or videos published outside of Nevada
  • Commercial websites

Use fees may be negotiable under certain circumstances.
