The University Libraries joins the rest of the campus community in honoring and celebrating the academic achievements of the Class of 2020. We are especially excited to celebrate the graduates who have spent time over the course of their college careers working for the Libraries. While we wish we could celebrate in person, we know that is not a possibility due to Gov. Sisolak’s Stay Home for Nevada directive. The Libraries hopes all students and their families are well and safe during this unprecedented time.
I invite you to spend some time getting to know more about the University Libraries Class of 2020 graduates and the contributions they’ve made to the Libraries during their time working alongside our capable and devoted team faculty and staff members.
This has been a busy year for the Libraries and we could not have done all we did without the support of our talented student assistants. Student assistants work in every pocket of the Libraries. Within the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center students do meaningful work for Access Services, Technical Services, Special Collections and University Archives, @One Digital Media Technology, the Jon Bilbao Basque Library, Digital Services, Research and Instructional Services, Library Systems, Building Operations, Teaching & Learning Technologies. Additionally, there are several student assistants who have made an impact through their work at the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library.
