Working in the Libraries

What has been your favorite thing about working in the Libraries?: I love the environment of Prim Library, everyone I work with, and am just so passionate about library work. Libraries are so important for so many different reasons.

Can you tell us about a favorite memory or job-related achievement from your time working here?: Just being able to help patrons and work on projects to further Prim Library and help it merge with UNR has been wonderful.

What’s next for you?: Unknown at the moment! I would love to continue working in libraries.

From Rose, Kyla’s supervisor: Kyla’s positivity and hard work have been truly inspiring. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the library services area and is always ready to assist with projects. She is extremely reliable, responsible, and a pleasure to be around. We are immensely grateful for all the contributions that Kyla has made during her time here and know she’ll achieve great things in her future.

Kyla managed our Sustainable Shelves program with Baker and Taylor resulting in over $500 in cash credit to be used for Prim Library.
