What has been your favorite thing about working in the Libraries?: I really like packaging the books to be mailed to other libraries across the country.
Can you tell us about a favorite memory or job-related achievement from your time working here?: One time I scanned pages from a book that weighed over 21 pounds!
What’s next for you?: I will be heading back to Las Vegas and I’d like to work in a hospital or clinic in their prosthetics/orthotics department.
From Deirdre, Katherine’s supervisor: Katherine is very smart and fun to work with. She has a great sense of humor and learns very quickly. She has done so well that we have been able to train her on very complicated tasks in the department that others were not prepared to perform.
