What has been your favorite thing about working in the Libraries?: My favorite part of working in the Knowledge Center has been feeling like I am part of the campus and being an active member beyond just being a student.
Can you tell us about a favorite memory or job-related achievement from your time working here?: My job at the Knowledge Center is the first job I've ever had. Being a full time student and managing my job and internship this semester has felt like a big achievement.
What’s next for you?: After graduation, I'm moving back home to Las Vegas. I am applying to grad schools and hoping to get my Masters in social work.
From Jessica, Carla's supervisor: Ceci (Carla) is always quick to complete tasks and is not afraid to ask questions. When Ceci was first hired in the summer, we were in the middle of a huge project involving moving a ton of furniture into storage. She had barely been working a week but was super awesome at helping us get those pieces of furniture moved. She is very hard-working!
