Working in the Libraries
What has been your favorite part of working in the Libraries?: Being able to do homework while working and give myself less stress over studying
Can you give us one (or more) example of an achievement or special memory from your time working for us?: Anytime working late nights with my coworkers and just catching up with them and what they’ve been doing.
What is next for you? Short-term or long-term plans: My long term plans is to become a portrait photographer and have my own photography studio. I want to travel around the world, applying for art residencies to continue my art projects.
Supervisor Responses from Sasha Soleta:
What has been your favorite part of working with Angelina?: My favorite part of working with Angelina was her rare blend of creativity, reliability, and quietly heroic dedication. Even as a self‑professed night owl—and someone who would be perfectly at home wandering a Ren Faire—she consistently arrived on time for early morning shifts, ready to work and unfazed by whatever task awaited her. She brought a calm, steady presence to the team, pairing the creative spirit of a bard with the discipline of someone who knows when it’s time to shelve the lute and report for duty.
What is one job-related achievement or memory of Angelina?: One particularly memorable contribution was when Angelina helped Sasha log hundreds of vinyl records—a task that demands patience, focus, and an appreciation for the long game. While others might have quailed at the tedium, Angelina approached it without complaint, working carefully and consistently through the collection like a medieval librarian faithfully illuminating manuscripts in a scriptorium. Her willingness to take on detailed, time‑consuming work with good humor and reliability made her an invaluable part of the team.
As Angelina graduates and embarks on her next adventure, we wish her fair winds, strong coffee for early mornings, and many successful quests ahead—whether on stage, on the page, or wherever her creative path leads.
