Working in the Libraries

What has been your favorite part of working in the Libraries?: The flexibility of my schedule and being able to do homework on shift when I have downtime.

Can you give us one (or more) example of an achievement or special memory from your time working for us?: I met my former roommate and one of my best friends working at the library and was a bridesmaid in her wedding.

What is next for you? Short-term or long-term plans: Not sure.

Supervisor Responses from Jessica Trujillo-Moses:

What has been your favorite part of working with Lily?: My favorite part of working with Lily has been has been her communication skills. Lily always makes sure to keep John and I updated on building maintenance and operational adjustments to ensure they work smoothly. She’s not afraid to let us know a process doesn’t work the way we intended and is a great help with fine tuning these processes.

What is one job-related achievement or memory of Lily?: It was a pleasure to watch Lily grow from a new hire to applying to become a lead! It is wonderful to see students step up and take on more of a leadership role within the department. She has been essential to supporting new hires and current building monitors with normal procedures, and keeping the printers and lost and found in order!
