DeLaMare Library floor maps

Basement

A map of the first floor of DeLaMare Library. It includes colors differentiating public and staff spaces, in addition to room and service labels. The floor features a service desk near the center of the space, compact shelving for book storage, the GIS/Data Depot, scanning near the service desk, the Dataworks South lab, and restrooms in the center of the floor.


What you can find on the basement floor

The basement floor of the DeLaMare Library includes an entrance facing north. There is an elevator in the middle of the basement-floor area and a set of stairs on the north end that leads to the upper floors of the DeLaMare Library.

The Service Desk is directly south of the north staircase entrance to the basement floor. On the west side of the basement floor is the Compact Shelving room. The Government Collection is on the east side of the basement floor, as well as a staff cubicle.

South of the Government collection, there are two gender-neutral bathrooms. Directly to the west of the bathrooms is a public elevator. The DataWorks South lab is located south of the public elevator and the two gender-neutral bathrooms.
South of the basement floor, there is an exit-only staircase that leads to the first floor before entering the Mary B. Ansari Map Library. On the very south end of the basement floor, you will find the Mary B. Ansari Map Library, the Data & GIS Depot, and the Data Consultant 004A.

First floor

A map of the first floor of DeLaMare Library. It includes colors differentiating public and staff spaces, in addition to room and service labels. The floor features the Makerspace, a large collaborative space for learning and research using fabrication methods. Restrooms and the Keck Museum are also on the floor.


What you can find on the first floor

The first floor of the DeLaMare Library includes two outside entrances: one non-accessible entrance on the south end of the building that faces the Quad, and a wheelchair accessible entrance on the north end of the building. Stairs are also located on the north side of the first floor, which will lead to the second floor and the basement floor. An ADA ramp connects the north and south entrances to the building, as well as leading down into the first-floor area. A public elevator is located directly to the east of the first-floor ramp entrance.

The first floor includes the Makerspace area on the east side of the building, and a staff cubicle located southeast of the Makerspace area. The atrium is an open area and is southwest of the first floor. A kitchen located on the south end of the first floor is available to library staff. Library Staff office rooms 102, 103A, 103B, and 103C, can be accessed through the kitchen area.

Second floor

A map of the second floor of DeLaMare Library. It includes colors differentiating public and staff spaces, in addition to room labels. The the primary purpose of the floor involves study spaces and computers. The floor is also home to the theses collection.


What you can find on the second floor

The second floor of the DeLaMare Library includes an entrance facing north. There is an elevator in the middle of the basement and first-floor area and a set of stairs on the north end that lead to the upper floors of the DeLaMare Library.

The second floor includes Recording Studio room to the west of the north staircase entrance. There are two Group Study rooms; one is located towards the center and the other towards the east of the group study room located in the center.

Also located in the center of the second-floor there are two gender-neutral bathrooms. Directly west of the bathrooms is a public elevator. The atrium is open to below (first floor) and is southwest of the second floor. On the south end of the second-floor, there is an alternative staircase that leads up to the third floor.

Third floor

A map of the third floor of the DeLaMare Library. It includes colors differentiating public and staff spaces, in addition to room labels.


What you can find on the third floor

The third floor of the DeLaMare Library includes an entrance facing north and south. There is an elevator in the middle of the basement, first, and second-floor area and a set of stairs on the north end that leads to the upper floors of the DeLaMare Library.

Alternatively, the south end entrance can be accessed from the southern entrance to the DeLaMare Library first floor. There is a set of stairs to the west when entering the south entrance that leads to the Lilli Brant Reading Room and is connected to the rest of the third floor.

A public elevator is located in the center of the third-floor area. The atrium is open to below (first floor) and is southwest of the second floor. On the south end of the third floor, there is an alternative staircase that leads down to the second floor. Adjacent to the staircase in the south end of the third floor is the Lilli Brant Reading Room which has an exit to the first floor.
