Getting to the Fifth Floor

The Fifth Floor of the Knowledge Center includes stairs that lead up from the Second Floor Atrium on the east end of the floor, near the PZ-Z General Collection. There is a space in the center of the floor that is open to the Atrium below. Elevators leading to the upper and lower floors of the library are near the southeast end of the floor.

 

Fifth Floor North

Fifth Floor North materials

The Fifth Floor North stacks house materials with Library of Congress call numbers that fall within the PR-PT range. Users can reach these materials by walking to the left off the stairs from the main atrium or the same direction from the public elevators.

 

Fifth Floor East

Fifth Floor East materials

The Fifth Floor East stacks house materials with Library of Congress call numbers that fall within the PZ-Z range. Users can reach these materials by walking straight off the stairs from the main atrium or to the left from the public elevators.

 

Fifth Floor South

Fifth Floor South materials

The government collection on the Fifth Floor houses state and federal government information . Users can reach these materials by taking two right-hand turns when leaving the stairs from the main atrium or by taking two left turns from the public elevators.

 

Fifth Floor West

Fifth Floor West materials

The Fifth Floor West stacks house materials with Library of Congress call numbers that fall within the ND-PR range. Users can reach these materials by walking counter-clockwise off the stairs from the main atrium or by walking clockwise from the public elevators.
