Knowledge Center Second Floor Maps

Students and team members work to check out items at the Access Services Desk, which is located on the Second Floor of the Knowledge Center.

Getting to the Second Floor

The Second Floor of the Knowledge Center includes an outside main entrance facing west that leads to the Whalen Parking Garage, a north entrance that leads to the Joe Crowley Student Union, and a south entrance that has stairs to the First Floor.

Second Floor North

Second Floor North materials

The Second Floor North stacks house materials house the Libraries reference collection. Users can reach these materials by walking to the left as they enter main atrium.

Second Floor South

Second Floor MARS materials

Second Floor MARS materials

The Mathewson Automated Retrieval System (MARS) at the Knowledge Center is a robotic system that houses many of the older, low-use books, journals, and other materials. Users can request books from MARS through Library Search by selecting the request from MARS link. MARS requests usually take 10-15 minutes to be ready at the Access Services Desk which is located on the far end of the atrium.
