The Antipa Family Slide Collection includes images of the Antipa family in the Sierra Nevada following the 1960 Winter Olympic Games. Many of the images are of the facilities and spaces used to hold the then-recent Winter Olympic Games.

This collection includes a small number of Artemisia Yearbooks that the Libraries have recently digitized. The yearbook is published by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN).

This collection contains images of the University of Reno campus and student activities from throughout its history. It encompasses more than 3,000 images dating from 1815 to 2015.

This collection contains the papers, notebooks, and photographs of James Edward Church, who was a professor of Classics at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the man known as the "father of snow science" because of the snow sampler and snow surveying methods he developed.

Annual reports by the Cooperative Extension Service on agricultural and natural resources, home economics, youth, 4-H, and other community resource programs. Records contain statistical data, narrative reports of accomplishments, and personnel data.

This collection contains 275 images of plants and trees taken in northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe region by botanist and nature writer Olga Reifschneider from the 1940s-70s, it presents an expansive view of the botanical life of this region and is exclusively devoted to native plants.

The Ollie M. Walters Journal recounts everyday activities of Ollie, her husband Jim, daughters Flora and Amy, and sons Jack and Clarence; and events in nearby communities and other parts of the U.S.

This collection consists of a two-volume set containing biographies of 110 prominent Nevadans (109 men and one woman). Each biography is accompanied by a full-page portrait illustration in black and white.

The Peter Goin collection consists of images from Goin's photographic projects with a geographic focus on Nevada and/or the American West.

Collection contains materials collected by Robert Harmon about Lake Tahoe including materials from his grandmother, Edith Jewell who owned Jewell Heights, a resort at Bijou, Lake Tahoe, California. Stationary and miniatures included were on display in the gift shop at the resort.

Sagebrush Vernacular is an exhibition of 120 photographs selected from 463 photographs of rural Nevada architecture taken by advanced photography students from the University of Nevada, Reno.

The collection contains press releases from Senator Heller's legislative career. Key topics among the press releases include veterans' affairs, tax reform, public lands, and infrastructure projects. The collection also includes over one hundred press releases related to the Yucca Mountain project.

This collection consists of images from the photographs collections of Special Collections. Strengths of the collection include materials related to the Reno and Sparks communities, the Sierra Nevada, and locations throughout Northern Nevada.

Conducted from December 2016-June 2017, the oral histories in this collection document the experiences of 15 individuals who either went to school or worked at the Stewart Indian School. The interviews were conducted by Terri McBride who was on contract with the Nevada Indian Commission for the duration of the grant.

These three volumes (of the original 4 volumes) depict the Scott's prospecting journey through southern Nevada, Death Valley, eastern California/western Nevada along the Walker River, and through Bridgeport over Sonora Pass.

A history of the University of Nevada, Reno published during the university's centennial anniversary. The author provides information about the university's foundations, its leaders, faculty, and students, and its educational impact in the state of Nevada.

This scrapbook was compiled by siblings Edward and Emma Vanderleith and includes mementos documenting social events and politics in the Carson City, Nevada area during the turn of the 20th century.

The Walter S. Long sketches are rendered in pencil, watercolor, pen and ink. There are about one hundred titled, dated and signed sketches depicting the artist's living quarters, also mining locations and the surrounding area in and around Eureka, Nevada and the southeastern section of the state.

Much of the material is derived from the Western Shoshone Defense Project's (WSDP) nineteen years as a non-profit, grassroots Western Shoshone organization advocating land and treaty rights. The material also represents Carrie Dann’s involvement in Indian politics with associated traditional Western Shoshone councils and organizations.

The forty-two notebooks in this collection date from 1869 to 1878. All but four were produced during the "Wheeler Survey" in Nevada from 1871 to 1878.

The Wild Horse and Burro Collection contains scanned reports, correspondence, and other publications covering the work of the Nevada Wild Horse Commission.
