Hidden Cave Experience
Hidden Cave is a cultural and scientific treasure located in Fallon, Nevada. You can now visit Hidden Cave in virtual reality. The Hidden Cave Virtual Reality experience includes a tour of the cave, artifacts, and multimedia information about the site.
Reno Street Art VR Project
This project was created by the University Libraries at the University of Nevada, Reno to digitally preserve Reno’s ephemeral street art.
Virtual Museum of Native American Basketry
This VR experience hosts over 100 Native American Baskets woven by Native American Indians from over 25 different tribes spanning from the Great Basin into California, Oregon, Nevada, and other western states. It was a multi-faceted collaborative project in partnership with the Anthropology Research Museum of the University of Nevada, Reno.
Coming soon: Seven Magic Mountains
Experience the Seven Magic Mountains in virtual reality. The 35ft-tall, stacked boulders are a public art installation designed by internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. It is located near Jean Dry Lake approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. The project is a collaboration between University Libraries at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Nevada Museum Art.
Evan W. Gadda is a student at the University of Nevada, Reno. The @One Digital team showed him experiences in VR and captured his reaction. Walking with Reality has garnered more than two million online views and has been shared across a variety of social media channels and news outlets.
