DeLaMare Library FAQ
The DeLaMare Library is located within the Mackay Mines Building, just off of the historic Quad.
Yes! We have two rooms available for reservations, the Lilli Brant Reading Room 301, and Group Study Room 202A. You can make reservations in advance on our website.
The DeLaMare Library Makerspace is open and free for all students and has a variety of equipment and services including 3D printing and scanning, laser cutting, CNC milling, and much more. Their expert Maker Wranglers can teach you all you need to know to make your next class project a success.
All users of the space need to take the Makerspace 101 Training Course. Users can sign up on our Community Hub page.
The makerspace is located on the first floor of the Mackay Mines Building.
We house a variety of books and other physical resources related to the STEM disciplines. They are located on the basement level of our building.
Our poster printing services are located in the basement of the DeLaMare Library. You can find more information on poster printing on our website.
The Mary B. Ansari Map Library is the largest map collection in Nevada, containing more than 140,000 maps. It is in the basement of the DeLaMare Library.
The GIS and Data Depot is a computer lab with specialty software programs, including ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, R, Anaconda Navigator and more. The Depot is located on the basement level of the DeLaMare Library, within the Mary B. Ansari Map Library.
DataWorks is a computer lab with specialty software programs, including ChemCAD, SolidWorks, LabView, MatLab and more. There are two DataWorks lab locations on campus. DataWorks North is located in the 1st floor of the Knowledge Center, and DataWorks South is located in the basement level of the DeLaMare Library.
