The hours for research help services are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed on holidays. Check out the University Libraries hours for all departments.

- Walk-ins are welcome too. Ring the doorbell at the Circulation Desk in the Knowledge Center.
- Click on Find a Librarian on the library homepage.
- Find the librarian in your subject area (e.g., social work, communication studies, etc.).
- Click on the name of the librarian and then click Schedule a Consultation.
- Select an in-person or online consultation if there is an option for this, and then select a date and time that works for you.
- Answer the questions and click Book.
- You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment with location information.
Yes, we do! The Peer Research Consultants (PRCs) are current UNR students specially trained and can help you with most of your research needs. If they cannot help you, they will be happy to refer you to someone who can. Check out the Meet the Peer Research Consultants page so you can get to know them.
You can find the best resources for your subject area by using a Research Guide, linked from the library homepage or called “Library Guides” in WebCampus courses. Find the guide in your subject area (e.g., agriculture, anthropology, etc.) and use it to access the best databases and other resources that you can use to find sources for your papers and other projects. Contact the subject librarian listed in the guide if you have any questions.
