Looking for help with research or just a comfortable place to study? Completed in 2008, the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center features the technology, spaces, and services you need. Computing and information technologies and support are combined with the latest in multimedia tools and the resources of the University library in a physical environment designed for comfort, efficiency and collaboration.

Basque Library

The Basque Library endeavors to collect, protect, and distribute information, on Basques living outside of the Basque Country, especially those in the US and other English-speaking countries.

Special Collections

The University of Nevada, Reno Archives and Special Collections is home to the University Archives and a variety of Special Collections including rare books, book arts, manuscripts, and maps.

Mackay Mines

DeLaMare Library

Dynamic and innovative, DeLaMare houses materials related to engineering and the physical sciences. It is home to the Makerspace, Mary B. Ansari Map library, Data and GIS Depot, and northern Nevada’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center. DeLaMare recently expanded its popular GIS and data management service to include data analysis, statistics, and visualization. Additionally, the Makerspace was a key partner in two federally funded grants to expand making in higher education. DeLaMare offerings: Makerspace, Data Services, Georesources, Poster Printing, and Patents and Trademarks.

W. Keck Museum

Located in the Mackay School of Mines Building at the University of Nevada, Reno, the W. M. Keck Museum houses an outstanding collection of minerals, ores, fossil specimens and photographs, in addition to mining related relics.

Prim Library

The Prim Library is a beautiful and welcoming space for all visitors in beautiful Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. It is well equipped with computers and printers for academic use, study spaces, robust wireless internet service, comfortable lounge areas, and special event spaces. It is also home to the Poetry Center and a Sustainability Collection.

Savitt Medical Library

The Savitt Medical Library is the academic medical library for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Since 1978, Savitt Medical Library has been providing support for future medical and nursing students, the School of Medicine Community faculty, outreach, and patient resources.
