Savitt at Renown
The Savitt Medical Library has a branch library at Renown Medical Center in the Sierra Tower on the 3rd floor.
Services
The Savitt at Renown location is staffed part-time with a medical librarian for consultation and assistance to serve the UNR Med professional and educational community. Our librarians are able to connect patrons with public access online resources (e.g. PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, Cancer.gov, MedlinePlus, etc. Services that support the information needs of our users include reference assistance, in-depth literature searching, and instruction.
Please note that the space and services are not available to patients or their families.
All of the Savitt Medical Library online licensed resources are available to patrons with a University of Nevada, Reno NetID. A NetID is available to all current UNR Med faculty, students, residents, fellows, and staff. Our licensed materials include databases, journals, eBooks, and streaming media.
