UNR Med Author Affiliation Statement

Guidelines

When submitting a journal manuscript for publication, using the correct author affiliation statement is important for purposes of accurate, comprehensive institutional reporting. Please note:

  • UNR Med titles may be used in academic publications, presentations at professional meetings and letters of recommendations.
  • UNR Med titles should not be used for presentations on behalf of industry (i.e., insurance, pharmaceutical speaker’s bureau) or non-academic publications.

Journal editorial systems often draw author affiliation statements from archived records that have been linked to your email address. Consequently, if you have submitted previous manuscripts to a specific publisher, the affiliation statement they use may not be current or correct. That said, it may take some extra effort to confirm that the publisher-supplied information is accurate. Also, some publisher systems may draw your affiliation information from your ORCID record, so you may need to check the institutional information in your ORCID account to insure accuracy and completeness.
