The University of Nevada, Reno was founded as Nevada’s land-grant institution, with a strong focus on mechanical and agricultural education and research. In order to support the University’s mission, the campus has developed over time. From humble beginnings in Elko to a prestigious Carnegie R1 research institution, the University of Nevada, Reno has continuously evolved while serving the educational needs of the state.
Building a State University was on display from October 2023 through February 2024.
