Step 1: Makerspace 101 training and membership agreement
All new Makerspace users must complete the Makerspace 101 training in WebCampus. This will create a training record for you in our Makerspace system and orient you to our community. This introductory course is a prerequisite to all other equipment trainings.
Are you community member wanting to access our Makerspace?
To gain access to the DeLaMare Library Makerspace, community members must purchase a Community Borrowers Card. For more information on how to purchase a Community Borrowers Cards, please visit our Visitor and Alumni Services webpage.
Here is how you can complete the training
- Follow the link below to our DeLaMare Library Community page.
- Select the “Makerspace 101 Training” course.
- Select “Enroll Now”.
- Select “Already have an account”. This will have you sign in with your NetID.
- Complete the training in WebCampus.
New Members will also be required to sign the Makerspace Membership Agreement once a year. The agreement can be found in the Makerspace 101 Webcampus module.
Step 2: Equipment specific training
Online Training
The Makerspace provides training for all equipment available to users via Webcampus. To use a piece of equipment, users must review the module for that specific equipment and pass the quizzes. Once the module is complete, it may take 1-2 business days for completion to show in our records.

In-person Training
Some specialty equipment requires in-person training with a Maker Wrangler. These pieces of equipment are more complex and require hands on teaching and guidance. Once the training is complete, it may take 1-2 business days for the completion to show in our records.
