Joining our maker community

Step 1: Makerspace 101 training and membership agreement

All new Makerspace users must complete the Makerspace 101 training in WebCampus. This will create a training record for you in our Makerspace system and orient you to our community. This introductory course is a prerequisite to all other equipment trainings.

Are you community member wanting to access our Makerspace?

To gain access to the DeLaMare Library Makerspace, community members must purchase a Community Borrowers Card. For more information on how to purchase a Community Borrowers Cards, please visit our Visitor and Alumni Services webpage.

New Members will also be required to sign the Makerspace Membership Agreement once a year. The agreement can be found in the Makerspace 101 Webcampus module.

Step 2: Equipment specific training

Online Training

The Makerspace provides training for all equipment available to users via Webcampus. To use a piece of equipment, users must review the module for that specific equipment and pass the quizzes. Once the module is complete, it may take 1-2 business days for completion to show in our records.

Links to all additional equipment trainings can be found in the Makerspace 101 Webcampus training module.
