Finding and accessing images and media

Most of the collection is available onsite only, or through copy requests. A subset of our collections are available online. Please check the Libraries' Digital Collections for access to digital materials from our collections and elsewhere. You can search through all the collections at once or you can browse through individual collections. Free downloads are available. Please observe the use and reproduction guidance for each item.

Accessing audio and video

Special Collections and University Archives holds numerous audio and video recordings throughout its collections. A few are available in Digital Collections repository for immediate access. Others can be found through our collection guides or in our Library Search discovery tool. In order to preserve unique materials, we only allow playback from duplicate copies of the originals. In some cases, this means the material will need to be digitized before you can access it. Please contact us online for more information about any audio or video materials you would like to access that are not already available online.
