Getting to Special Collections

The Special Collections and University Archives Department is centrally located inside the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center on the third floor. The entryway exhibit room is flanked by scaled replicas of the beautiful Lorenzo Ghiberti Gates of Paradise in Florence, Italy.

Directions to our department

  1. Enter the Knowledge Center and make your way to the central entrance located near the information kiosk.
  2. From there, walk into the Knowledge Center Atrium take the grand stairs (on the left) to the third floor.
  3. Those preferring to take the elevator should walk through the Atrium on the second floor toward the Circulation Desk. The elevators are located off to the right. 
  4. Once on the third floor, look for the entrance to the Department right in front of where the stairs meet the third floor, and slightly to the right. Those using the elevator to access the space will find the entrance after exiting to the left.
