About our audiovisual materials

Special Collections and University Archives holds over 1,000 boxes of films, audio recordings, oral histories, campaign spots, and other recordings supporting our collecting areas.

A few films and recordings are available in the Library’s digital collections platform where you can access the content directly. The majority of our media content is not available online, but is described in our archival collection guides. Staff will help you get access to these materials on request.

We also have a few films that are cataloged and findable through LibrarySearch.
