Laura Rocke

Community and University Archivist

Summary

As the Community and University Archivist for Special Collections and University Archives, I have the privilege of developing the repositories’ collections and choosing which rare and unique materials get added to them for use by students, faculty, other researchers and the general public. This responsibility involves identifying those materials which align with our collecting scope and policy, as well as those that may be of most interest and use to our distinctive patrons, while also keeping in mind our department’s particular personnel strengths and operational circumstances. I also have the pleasure of developing and fostering relationships with our valued donors.
