Summary

As the Associate Dean, Linda Kopecky leads several departments with public service points, including two branch libraries, that provide direct support to researchers, strengthen scholarly communication, and optimize library spaces in support of research excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Linda has 35 years academic libraries experience, including administration, collections management, research services, vendor partnerships, access services, building operations, accessibility issues, IDEA advocacy, and more. She has a national reputation in organizational leadership and a strong professional network. She currently serves on the ALA-APA Salaries and Status of Library Workers Committee and the ALA/American Institute of Architects (AIA) Awards for Buildings and Interiors Committee and is an elected member of the OCLC Global Council and it's Americas Regional Council representing the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
