How to Scan

Disclaimer

The Knowledge Center offers scanning free of charge. Scanning does not produce a hard copy of the item that you are scanning but rather a digital copy. Users should not scan more than 10% of copyright-protected works to adhere to fair use guidelines.

  1. Find a Scanner: Scanners can be found in @One (flatbed scanners and the photocopier), the second floor of the Knowledge Center (overhead book scanner and the two photocopiers) and in the DeLaMare Library.
  2. Saving Options: All of the scanners can send files via email or download to a flash drive or email. Additionally, the book scanner and flatbed scanners can save files to cloud storage. No scans should be saved to the computer hard drives in the Libraries.
