Summary
As the Collections Librarian, I provide direction and support for the Libraries’ materials budget management. I oversee and facilitate timely subscription renewal decision making and work directly with vendors and publishers to negotiate new agreements and learn about new resources. I also conduct assessment projects to assist with collection development.
In my work as a subject librarian, I collaborate with faculty to provide instruction sessions that meet information literacy and other curricular objectives, provide research consultations for projects and assignments to students, faculty, and staff, and assist with library collections to support programs.
